Municipal Waste Incineration for the City of Egegik, Alaska

Installed Spring of 2017

The City of Egegik commissioned us to replace their Batch Gasifiers that were destroyed in a fire earlier that year.  We had to replace them with units of the same basic design, operation, size, and throughput; however, no one new any of this information.  So we went to work researching the building and gathering all the information that we could find to be able to design a system that would allow them to operate using their existing permits.  The city suffered from what many municipalities suffer from: increasing volumes of garbage and diminishing space to place it.  they also had many environmental concerns for wildlife and run-off from any unprocessed waste since a lot of their waste was from fish processing facilities.  We were able to get them a new system installed and commissioned in time for the next season.
