We pride ourselves on doing those projects that are unique and we also pride ourselves on being able to provide fabrication services that would not normally be provided.  Here we fabricated, assembled, tested, and delivered a special train car unloading bridge.  The bridge was designed to be installed over a set of railroad tracks to allow a hydraulic excavator to unload 100T train gondolas.  This bridge was designed by others but detailed and built by us.  Utilizing our large assembly area we erected the bridge so to allow the operators the ability to assess the assembly before shipping.  The assembly consisted of the bridge and a ramp for the excavator to drive up onto the bridge.  The structure was standard wide flange and angle iron.  The decking consisted of 6" x 12" douglas fir beam.
